Prof. Vincent Sai is a healthcare leader with over 25 years’ experience in primary care, population health, and large-scale transformation. He is Group CEO and Partner at Modality Partnership, one of the UK’s largest NHS GP partnerships, supporting care for over 12 million citizens across 50+ sites. He is the only non-clinical owner among 135 GP partners and a Fellow Chartered Accountant.
Since joining in 2015, he has led Modality’s expansion, service diversification, and digital transformation. The partnership’s model has been evaluated by Nuffield Trust, The King’s Fund, and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, and recognised through national industry awards.
Prof. Sai is a regular speaker at national and international healthcare forums, sharing insights on primary care transformation, population health, digital innovation, and system leadership.
Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Aetna, where he led international health management strategy and launched award-winning population health programmes. Earlier, he worked with Deloitte Consulting across Asia-Pacific and Europe on strategy, outsourcing, and large-scale transformation.
Prof. Sai holds degrees from the University of Western Australia and an Executive Certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and serves as Honorary Professor of Practice and Executive in Residence at UCL Global Business School for Health.
He also leads Pathfinder Healthcare Developments CIC, supporting global primary care innovation, and serves on health tech and biotech advisory boards.
