Prof Yasir Abbasi

Prof Yasir Abbasi is currently the Executive Medical Director at Via in the United Kingdom (UK). He is also an adjunct professor at Liverpool John Moores University. A Consultant Psychiatrist with over a decade of clinical and leadership experience in general adult and addiction psychiatry. He has developed services across the UK and UAE. He also founded the Painkiller Addiction Information Network (PAIN) charity, influencing national policy and contributing to the 2019 Public Health England review and speaking multiple times at the British parliament. A published academic and respected speaker, Prof Abbasi has delivered expert commentary on general adult and addiction across global conferences and media platforms.
