Rachel Williams

Rachel started her career in the NHS as a student Nurse in 1988. After qualifying she worked in ITU and became Senior Sister, where she set up a Bereavement Support Group, which received national recognition. 

In 2007 Rachel started in a series of management roles, including recruitment and well-being, respiratory medicine, thoracic surgery, allergy and immunology then into acute medicine and emergency department management.   

Rachel joined South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust in 2017 leading urgent and emergency care, with a keen interest in workforce, flow, deconditioning and service improvement.

Throughout her career Rachel has won national awards for international recruitment  and training and development schemes and her work to improve frailty services.
