Romy is a Geospatial Analyst at NHS South, Central and West (SCW), with experience supporting mental health transformation projects through location-based analytics. She also brings extensive expertise in delivering geospatial tools and insights across other NHS sectors, specialising in large-scale service reconfiguration and primary care commissioning.
As a member of SCW's Health Improvement and Inequalities Network, Romy aims to tackle disparities in mental health service access and outcomes through her geospatial analysis. Her work enables data-driven decision making by producing geo-visualisations that reveal patterns in service provision, accessibility, and activity across areas of interest.
Previously, Romy volunteered as a COVID-19 vaccinator, which gave her a valuable perspective on the realities of frontline care. She finds it rewarding working towards improved patient outcomes through the application of population analytics and geospatial intelligence, helping to shape more equitable and effective mental health services.
