Roy Newling

Roy Newling oversees the IM1 team within NHS Digital Live Services, which provides support and guidance to the suppliers of third party systems, facilitating their integration into principal clinical systems through interface mechanisms within primary care. Prior to joining the healthcare sector in April 2019, Roy worked for over 15 years in the financial services industry managing service delivery and client projects for major retail banks.

In 2020 the IM1 team introduced a simplified assurance process which provides third-party suppliers with a speedier path to living deployment, providing a platform for further innovation within primary care.
