Ruth Jacobs

Ruth Jacobs is a Registered Mental Health Nurse, trainer, and founder of Certified Minds. With a background across CAMHS inpatient units, community teams, and specialist eating disorder services, she now works nationally with healthcare, education, and corporate organisations to strengthen how teams respond to mental health and safeguarding challenges.

Her work focuses on translating complex clinical situations into practical, real-world skills — particularly in high-pressure environments where communication, risk, and decision-making are critical when supporting children and adolescents.

Ruth is also co-founder of Rest to Reset, supporting families of young people with complex mental health needs in the community, and is a recipient of the HSJ Award for Best Educational Programme for the NHS.
