Simon Carey

With over 20 years’ experience committed to improving patient care through leveraging technology, Simon currently holds dual roles as Director of ICT Operations for NHS East and North Hertfordshire CCG, as well as Deputy Director of Technology and Innovation for Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust. He is responsible for the operational support service, and business relationship function across 122 sites; supporting four CCGs and two provider trusts. He leads the digital transformation of patient service delivery, leveraging his expertise in primary and secondary healthcare processes and systems to provide first-class care with seamless technology enablement. Most recently he implemented a service improvement plan to boost customer experience through innovative initiatives; including robotic process automation and multi-channel contact methods.
