“Do we need to consult? Knowing when and how to remain compliant”

Andrea Clark
Head of Engagement, Communications and Marketing
NHS Arden and GEM CSU
Over the past few months, the NHS has responded to one of the most challenging health emergencies in recent history. COVID-19 has required many organisations to implement a range of emergency, urgent or temporary changes to services. As we move into the restoration and recovery phase, these organisations are likely to need to consider the statutory requirements and public law duties for engagement and consultation. But how do we know when consultation is needed? And how do we reach people for their views against a backdrop of social distancing? Hear how NHS Arden & GEM CSU is advising and supporting health and care systems on the engagement process needed as part of their restoration and recovery plans. We will also be sharing the approaches and tools we have developed to help organisations move to virtual engagement approaches and reach those who still don’t have access to digital platforms.

In this time of increasing uncertainty and change, digital inclusion is more important than ever before. As health organisations take steps to limit travel, cancel or postpone face-to-face appointments and replace in-person events with virtual ones, it’s vitally important that the information you produce online can be accessed and understood by every website user, including those with hidden disabilities, neurodiverse conditions and non-native speakers In this session join our Texthelpers to learn how NHS Trusts around the UK are investing in solutions to help patients overcome communication challenges and to create truly inclusive digital experiences. 40% of the NHS is already using our health literacy solutions – be sure to join our session to find out more!

National childhood Immunisation Programme and how as a PCN we collaborated with other sectors to ensure this service continued through the pandemic.

Vanessa Hewitson-Townley
Advanced Nurse Practitioner/GPN Lead
North Halifax PCN (Calderdale CCG West Yorkshire)
I will discuss specifically how the PCN’s in Calderdale collaborated with the health visiting team (provided by Locala) to ensure training requirements were met. The highs of working as a team and the logistics/pitfalls of several different digital systems having to come together and the coordination of not only staff but also vaccinations and patients being in the right place at the right time, I could also include how using new digital platforms has also helped inform and reassure parents and ensured a continued uptake of the programme.

Convenzis Healthcare Event testimonials

What our clients say about us

It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Really positive event for us and we look forward to working with Convenzis in the future.

Catalyst BI -

My colleague and I presented at the NHS workforce conference 2023, 19 September. The support and guidance we received from the Convenzis team in the run up to our presentation slot was great, well timed and perfectly pitched. The event itself, again was expertly organised. The conference was well Chaired by Sean, who was very engaging. As an audience member as well as a panel member, I would definitely work with the Convenzis team again.

NHS BSA -

Covenzis delivered an excellent meeting like always - a hubbub of activity focused on future developments within NHS pathology laboratories

Source LDPath -

Working with Convenzis is a stress-free and a rewarding experience, with fantastic engagement from a highly targeted and relevant audience

I worked with Convenzis, primarily Dan, for the first time this year, putting together a bespoke online event for IBM. He has always been so responsive and accommodating. The team always remained professional and helpful – despite the many demands from our side! They were very keen for us to maximise on the investment and revisit those attendees who had not committed to follow ups.
It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Convenzis and I know there will be more opportunities next year. Looking forward to it!
