The Convenzis NHS Patient Safety Conference series provides a safe and secure environment for NHS Safety Professionals to listen, learn and engage with sector leading thought leaders and to network freely with peers with the aim of improving national NHS patient safety.

In February 2021, further updates and changes were made to the NHS Patient Safety Strategy. The most significant strategy update is the new commitment to address patient safety inequalities, with a new objective added to the safety system strand of the strategy.
The NHS plans to meet the needs of specific vulnerable groups in the improvement strand – notably the objectives to address the safety issues faced by older people and people with a learning disability.
