I am currently the consultant nurse overseeing the Virtual health Hub at Hampshire Hospitals. This supports 3 services to ensure patients are safely managed at home or supported and reviewed in secondary care. The first service is the Telemedicine service which supports 260 care homes across Hampshire. This is to support staff and carers with acute patient deterioration to ensure the residents are reviewed in a timely manner and escalated when required. The second service is the clinical communication centre. This supports our primary care and community colleagues with acute medical advice and admissions into secondary care and ensures patients are seen at the right time, place and by the right clinician. Our last service is our Virtual ward to support admission avoidance and reduce inpatient length of stay. We are currently managing 8 virtual wards across different specialities.

Before this role I have a wide range of experience from working in the community, within the emergency department and critical care.
