Saghar is both a Chartered Scientist and a Chartered Manager, attesting to her professionalism and high standards in the healthcare and management domains.
Currently serving as the Managing Director at North West London Pathology (NWLP), Saghar leads one of the largest NHS Pathology Joint Ventures. Her visionary leadership has steered NWLP through a complex and large-scale transformation programme, successfully delivering essential pathology services to the population of NW London. Under her leadership, NWLP has garnered prestigious national and international awards and accolades, cementing its reputation as an exemplary healthcare institution.
Saghar's exceptional contributions to the field were recognised when she was featured on The Pathologist - The Pathology Power List in 2021. This acknowledgment underscores her significant impact and influence within the healthcare sector.
Prior to her role at NWLP, Saghar held the position of Regional Diagnostic Lead for Imaging and Pathology at NHSEI. In this capacity, she was entrusted with the critical task of implementing the strategic plan aimed at enhancing service productivity across the Midlands and East of England. Her achievements in this role demonstrated her ability to drive positive change on a regional scale.
In her previous position as the Managing Director at South West London Pathology (SWLP), Saghar strategically spearheaded the development of SWLP as a pioneering model of service delivery in a dynamic and emerging market. Her vision and leadership elevated SWLP to the status of a leading pathology service provider, earning the organisation multiple awards and ongoing success.
