The Challenges of changing NHS culture: Panel debate
Creating space to think differently
NHS organisations are facing an extreme amount of pressure, and competing priorities – many of which impact teams in a number of ways from motivation to morale. We recognise the challenges that the workforce face, and the realities of trying to find ways to make lasting and meaningful change.
What is needed, are tools and approaches that facilitate better insights into workforce challenges so that leaders and teams are equipped to plan effectively, in a way that allows staff to optimise their capacity. The Benson tool is an intuitive platform that brings to life contemporaneous data about team activity.
The result is better understanding of the workforce in order to be able to more effectively predict and plan the requirements of the service to deliver the best possible care.

Supporting a culture of Clear Air
Our aim is to give an insight into the cost of conflict in the workplace – this includes the cost financially, time, resource and fundamentally people’s wellbeing and mental health. Through a series of short stories as examples, we will illustrate how organisations can help their teams and managers create a culture of empowerment, innovation, with honesty and integrity. All of our training and services in early resolution help create a culture of ‘Clear Air’ which when role modelled and demonstrated from the senior leadership team can truly make a positive change.
