Advanced Practice – Taking Centre Stage
Join Health Education England for its annual advancing practice conference, which for the first time is held online as a virtual event.
This collaborative event, taking place on Monday 9 November and Thursday 12 November 2020, brings together practitioners, educators, employers and researchers from across the country to share best practices, co-create, network and hear the latest news about how advanced practice is helping to deliver the national healthcare agenda.
Featuring a mixture of living, pre-recorded and interactive sessions available on-demand, attendees will have more flexibility to fit around their schedules.
Provisional conference schedule and agenda
Day One: Monday 9 November, 9 am – 11 am
9.30 am – Welcome and introduction – Beverley Harden, National Allied Health Professions Lead, Health Education England
9.45 am – Keynote: Richard Collier, Lead for Advanced Practice & Lead for Centre for Advancing Practice, Health Education England
10.05 am – 10.50 – further talks still to be confirmed
11 am – Workshops
The online workshops will launch at 11 am and stay open for 24 hours. You will be able to dip in and out, allowing you time to engage with one or more of the workshops in your own time. The planned workshops are as follows:
