The Foundation of Digital Systems: Digital Primary Care Congress

Following on from a hugely successful and well-followed conference back in February we are pleased to share details of our 2nd Digital Primary Care Congress.

As we celebrate the 70th birthday of the NHS, we know that by the end of the next decade, digital technology is likely to have transformed the service. Digital systems will be integral to a modern, efficient and responsive health service. Well-designed digital tools are already helping to provide care and services that are convenient for patients, efficient for the NHS and which get people the right care for them as quickly as possible.

In a challenging financial environment, IT services must not only improve the quality of care by enhancing the patients’ experience of services but also enable the practice to realise efficiency benefits such as a reduced administrative burden. Building on the solid foundations which are already in place in primary care, NHS England will support practices to develop IT functionality which responds to the evolving needs of patients and underpins integration across care pathways.

On the 19th of September 2019, we will be hosting our 2nd annual Digital Primary Care Congress. This event will give attendees the opportunity to network and engage with some of the most reputable and recognised speakers in the UK.

Key event subjects include:

  • NHS e-Referral Service
  • Cybersecurity
  • Health and care data
  • Digital Maturity Assessment
  • Interoperability

GP IT systems sit at the heart of primary care technology, facilitating and recording millions of interactions with patients every week. GP practices have led the way in the move from paper to digital record-keeping and are now well on the way to offering online transactions, such as appointment bookings and repeat prescriptions, across all practices in England.

It’s an exciting time for the NHS; this event will give you first-hand insight into the latest strategies in place that will take the NHS to the next level digitally.

The Foundation of Digital Systems: Digital Primary Care Congress will promote the power of networking, with 200 like-minded public-sector professionals in attendance our events will allow you to meet and engage with peers within your area of expertise from across the UK.

Benefits of attending:

  • Listen, learn and engage with industry-leading speakers
